The Role
We are looking for a Shopify QA Specialist to be the last line of defence before work goes live. You will test Shopify storefronts, themes, and integrations across builds and retainers, ensuring everything works as intended, looks pixel-perfect against designs, and performs well across browsers and devices.
This role is about precision, thoroughness, and clear communication. When you find a problem, you document it properly so developers can fix it fast. When something passes, we trust it completely.
About WIRO
WIRO is a commerce partner for fashion and lifestyle brands on Shopify. We sit at the intersection of strategy, design, and technology, helping ambitious brands make better decisions about how their commerce experience is planned, built, optimised and evolved. We are Shopify Premier Plus partners, in the top 1% globally.
We are a small, high-standards team that values excellence, honest thinking and good energy. We work remotely, respect your time, and care about getting the work right, not just getting it done.
What You Will Be Doing
- Testing Shopify storefronts (themes, sections, apps, checkout flows) against requirements, designs, and expected behaviour
- Running frontend checks to ensure pixel-perfect implementation against Figma designs across breakpoints
- Conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing to catch inconsistencies and edge cases
- Testing the Shopify Customiser to ensure sections, blocks, and settings work correctly for clients
- Documenting bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, screenshots, and environment details
- Tracking and prioritising defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Testing migrations and integrations to verify data accuracy and functional parity
- Contributing to QA processes by identifying areas for improvement and helping build better testing workflows
What You Will Bring
- 2+ years in QA, with hands-on experience testing ecommerce websites or Shopify storefronts
- Understanding of Shopify. You know how themes, the Customiser, apps, and checkout flows work from a testing perspective
- Cross-browser and cross-device testing experience. You have a structured approach and know the tools (BrowserStack, physical devices, or similar)
- Pixel-perfect eye. You can spot a 2px misalignment against a Figma design and you care about it
- Clear bug reporting. You write reproducible, well-structured bug reports that developers can act on immediately
- Attention to detail. You test edge cases, not just the happy path
